Taking time to read this article can be the beginning of changing your life in the greatest ways possible in 2014 and forever!
This past year has been the best year of my life as far as personal spiritual growth and development is concerned.
My two greatest accomplishments this past year have been first, I have learned to hear the voice of God in a much more clearer and consistent way. My second greatest accomplishment is that as a result of my first one, I have learned how to position myself before God in order to personally learn from God.
As a result of these life-changing experiences, in 2013 I self published my first of three books, finished the manuscript for my second book and have about three quarters of the manuscript completed for my third book.
My goal in 2014 is very simple: To learn to hear the voice of God in a much more clearer and a much more consistent way so that I can position myself consistently to learn from Him in a much more intimate and detailed way on a personal level.
Though I have other goals for 2014 this goal of learning to hear and learn from God speaks into my other ones by telling me which ones I need to have and even goes as far as providing for me the steps in order to accomplish them. These goals are achievable because God has truly spoke them and placed them in my heart. Now all I have to do is produce the actions to bring them to pass.
Setting goals and New Year’s Resolutions is good but if you are a God-believing person that believes that God is concerned and wants to be involved in every facet of your life then doesn’t it make sense that He should be included in your goal or resolution making process?
I have been guilty in times past of setting goals and accomplishing them successfully that were not the will of God for my life.
My God ordained life goal and purpose in life is to teach and train people how to hear the voice of God for their own lives so that they can accurately and strategically position themselves to learn from God on a personal level.
A few years ago after being a traditional Christian for over 20 years of my life, God revealed to me what was keeping me from experiencing Him at a level that I was not familiar with. He showed me how “Iniquity” was altering my mind and how it was perverting my view and my life experience with Him. This life changing experience and a deeper study from an original root word study of the word “iniquity” that is found in the bible is what conceived and birthed my first book “The Mystery of Iniquity Revealed.”
After years of being an alcoholic and drug addict, which resulted in my getting a divorce, being homeless, being depressed with suicidal tendencies, prostituting my body for drugs, financially ruined I also had a whole bunch of other life crippling issues.
In December of 1989 though I made the life changing decision to give my life to God, which resulted in my truly loving and wanting to serve God in the greatest ways possible. A few years ago I came to the sobering realization that I was just a traditional born-again Christian that was just going through the motions of what traditional Christianity had to offer. Though much of my experience was good, the truth was evident, I wasn’t experiencing life and God as I was supposed to.
Truth be told, if you are not clearly hearing and learning from God on a personal and daily basis, iniquity is perhaps present in your life without you even being aware of it. Iniquity is the unseen culprit that is keeping you from experiencing God at the highest level possible.
Many of us, like it was with me, don’t know what iniquity is, what it is means and much less how it perhaps is negatively affecting our lives without us even being aware of it, even as God believing people.
Through out the bible, God as the Supreme Being, Jesus as a human being and as a human manifestation of God on the earth, the disciples and apostles taught the dangers and the affects of iniquity. Iniquity it it’s singular and plural form is mentioned in no less than 262 times according to King James version of the bible which is the version that most study books that are used in religious organizations are derived from. If God, Jesus, the Disciples, the Apostles and the bible teaches that the root cause of what keeps someone from experiencing God at the highest level possible is iniquity then the question needs to be asked is “Why aren’t spiritual leaders in spiritual environments like churches and other spiritual organizations teaching on it?”
2Timothey 2:19 states:
Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal: "The Lord knew those who are His." And, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity!"
There are multiple reasons for the lack of teaching and awareness on the topic of iniquity but the primary reason is two-fold.
The first reason is that these environments teach (if they teach on it at all) that iniquity is sin. Sin is a result or a manifestation of iniquity. There are no less than 55 scriptural references that differentiate the two as two separate things. We hear sermons and message about sin all the time, but when is the last time that you heard a sermon or a message on the topic of iniquity?
The second reason is that the mystery of iniquity has, for centuries, been shrouded in the veils of flawed understanding due to its root understanding being lost. Unfortunately, the mystery of iniquity has been ignored, or redefined and neutered of its significance.
To expose the mystery of iniquity, many layers of preconceptions need to be challenged and exposed. Inaccurate presuppositions must also be peeled away.
To understand the mystery of iniquity, we have to challenge our own assumptions and thought patterns in search of the truth. Truth is the language of God. If you are not personally hearing and learning from God on a personal level then you are not being exposed to The Truth for your life.
Today many denominations and beliefs congregate under the umbrella of “religion.” Many are now claiming that they are stepping away from traditional religion and have a desire to be more of what they call a “Kingdom based church.”
Many of these organizations claim to have truth or the mind of God, yet their practices, character, disagreements and manmade traditions do not portray the essence of who God really is. Much of what is being taught today caters more to the side of entertaining believers instead of inner-training believers and equipping them with knowledge on how to strengthen their spirits in learning to hear and learn from God on a personal level.
But what is a Kingdom according to Jesus? At its core, first and foremost “A Kingdom” according to Jesus’ teachings, is an inner-learning-environment, it is a “Truth Environment” that God has inherently place within every human being where one has the potential to personally hear and learn from God at the highest level possible.
When being questioned by the traditional religionist of His day about where this Kingdom that Jesus kept talking about was the bible record found in Luke 17:20-21 states:
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."
Churches and other spiritual organizations today are mastering marketing techniques to bring the people in and give them basic Bible knowledge, yet so few Christians are given what they need to truly connect with God. This is evidenced in little to no real change in the lives of believers. They achieve a marginal level of deliverance from sinful behaviors and past lifestyles but are not truly and permanently set free from dysfunctional thinking and unhealthy tendencies. They unfortunately accept this limited existence and just cope with it.
Whether the problem exists in the human being, the church or in the world at large, there is one common thread evident in these environments. There is something keeping health, peace, wholeness and true prosperity from being manifested. Similar to a computer containing a virus that contaminates data and hinders the computer from functioning at its full capacity—and sometimes causing it to not function at all—there seems to be a hidden virus that is hindering our ability to grow and prosper, personally and in society at large. The virus is “Iniquity!”
Although there are hints and clues all around us, much of iniquity remains hidden to many individuals, churches, other spiritual environments and world leaders today.
With this New Year many of us will set new goals or make resolutions to lose weight and exercise, make more money, be more productive in some way or to even be more spiritual this upcoming year.
Some of us will acquire knowledge by reading on books on the topics of our goals in order to help us accomplish our goals or resolutions.
Allow me to encourage you to consider three other goals.
First: Stop experimenting with your life!
Second: Get a copy of my book “The Mystery of Iniquity Revealed so that you can stop the experimentation by getting an understanding of what iniquity really is so that you can root it out of your life so that:
Third you can begin a journey to discover “The Real You” and “The Real God” by learning to hear and learn from God on a personal level on a daily and consistent basis, so that the story of your life as He sees it can be read to you which can only be achieved if iniquity is rooted out of your life.
Trust me. I’m not trying to just sell you a book. But what I am trying to do is to expose to an answer to a world problem. Primarily the answer that I’m trying to provide you with is an answer to the inner-world of your life. One that perhaps is keeping you from experiencing God and life, as they should be experienced, at the Highest Level Possible.

My third book project “The Mystery of the Kingdom of God Revealed” which will be published soon after, looks at the biblical topic of The Kingdom as an inner-learning-environment that Jesus as a human went into inwardly within Himself in order to accurately hear and learn from God as a human being which serves as a model for how we as human beings can hear and learn from God on a personal level so that we like Jesus can live our lives with the highest accuracy and potential possible.
May your 2014 be filled with all of the blessings that God has prescribed and predestined your life!
Let’s take a deeper look at the root understanding of Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4:22-24 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. KJV
The key ingredients to the worship Jesus mentioned were spirit and truth so let’s define them to gain a better understanding of what kingdom worship requires. It is worthy to note that in both mentioning’s of the key word spirit the “s” is not capitalized such as in His “God is a Spirit” comment yet both words have the same meaning.
In the Greek the word spirit is pneuma which means “a current of air that is breath”. In the original Hebrew the word is ruach means “the wind of God or man, enlargement, inspiration, breath of life”.
The word truth in the Greek is “aletheia” which simply means “verity or reality”. In the original Hebrew the word is emeth which means “established, right, sure, faithful, what is firm, original information or meaning, what nurtures the covenant”.
While on earth Jesus would only speak and do what He heard and saw from God the Father and defined it as truth (John 5:19, 30, 36 & 8:40, 45 & 16:7 & 17:17). He also called the Holy Spirit the “Spirit of truth” in (John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13).
We can see throughout the gospels that Jesus was the original true worshipper for He allowed original information or knowledge which was truth which contained the detailed will of God for His life to inspire Him from God the Father in Spirit and He would breath back to God what He saw and heard in His words and actions through complete obedience. The purest form of worship is, honoring and reverencing God byexhaling back to Him through complete obedience in actions and words the instructions that are inspired or deposited into us in order to nurture the covenant that He has with us and we have with Him. This is Kingdom spirit and truth worship at the highest level.
